The Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel
Almost 100 years old, the Clift is a symbol of the city in the interesting theater district. The hotel, formerly known for its fiery red walls, now has a new face thanks to Philippe Starck. The designer swung his creative wand in 2001 and made the hotel a top attraction in the city. The best proof of this is the bar, where locals with a penchant for luxury meet for a drink after work. Each of the guest rooms of this charming and friendly English style guest house has its own fireplace.
